Managing Service Groups: Add, Edit, and Delete


Service groups let you organize your services into categories — such as "Exterior Detailing" or "Interior Cleaning" — and control which bays each group's services can be carried out in.


How to add a group


  1. Open Edit Business and go to the Services tab (or open Services directly).
  2. Tap Add Group.
  3. Enter a Group name (e.g. "Exterior Detailing").
  4. Select which bay(s) services in this group can use. A booking will use whichever selected bay is free at the time.
  5. Tap Create Group.


How to edit a group


  1. From the Services screen, find the group you want to update and tap Edit.
  2. Update the Group name and/or bay selection.
  3. Tap Save Changes.


How to delete a group


  1. Open the group's edit screen by tapping Edit.
  2. Tap Delete group.
  3. Confirm the deletion.


Note: A group can't be deleted while it still has services assigned to it. Move or remove all services from the group first, then try deleting it again.


Tips


  • Assigning multiple bays to a group gives you more flexibility — bookings will be spread across whichever bay is available.
  • Group your services the way customers naturally browse your shop; this affects how services are displayed to them.
